Leftovers
Leftovers is going to be a little page for small things that I've worked on, or figured out that other people might find useful.
Speedometer:
Recently I was having some problems and I was trying to describe a light that was coming on, but I was misidentifying it. So, since I've never seen it written down in a book before, I'm going to show you a picture of my speedometer, and tell you what the different indicator lights indicate.
Top Left = High Beam Indicator (blue)
Bottom Left = Neutral Indicator (clear, on mine may be different on yours)
Top Right = Generator Light ( red, this comes on if your engine isn't spinning fast enough to keep the alternator putting enough, 13, volts back into the battery)
Bottom Right = Oil Pressure Light (clear, on mine, heard it's orange on other people's bikes. Should be on before the engine starts with the key in.)
PAINT:
Okay, I know that my bike was repainted by a previous owner (missing pin striping), but I don't know what the original color was. If you look at the PICTURE you can see that under the black, there is a reddish layer, and a white layer. If anyone has any insight, please let me know here.
Seat:
If anyone has noticed my seat, I bought it at Eurotech . It looks really nice, and it's very well made, unfortunately it's as hard as a rock, so sometime in the near future I'm going to get a new seatcover and try recovering my old saddle.
Tools:
I took a picture of the tools I carry in my tray in case anyone's interested. Click HERE
BSA:
I recently agreed to fix up an old BSA 1968 Starfire for my neighbor. Unfortunately he just wants to get it running, and isn't concerned with restoration. So here it is now, with the engine just set back in it, and both wheels off waiting for tires. PICTURE
YARD:
Here's a few pictures of my yard. The purpose of this is if anyone is traveling through west-central Ohio, and needs a place to crash, my barn can hold several bikes, I have tools, and plenty of ground to camp on with a fire-pit!

Tech Day:
I would really like to host a tech day, but I don't know exactly how they work. I've got plenty of space, plenty of tools, and plenty of wide open country roads where I live. If anyone would be interested in attending, please email me here.
